What does it mean to"Tithe"?

First, let's answering the question "what is a tithe?" The definition of tithe comes from Hebrew and means "a tenth." Tithing in the Bible refers to giving 10 percent of your annual earnings, productions, or possessions. The tithe is the Lord's way of asking us to show our love. Giving God a percentage of our earnings shows that we put our love for Him before our need for money. - Leviticus 27:30

What is an"Offering"?

An offering is gifts brought to God beyond our tithes. An offering is not linked to what we earn—it is freely given by based on our financial situation in life. An offering may be given to express thanks, give praise, or to show our love for God. - Luke 6:38
